's been 44 years since Spain got its last European Championship, 24 from that failure Arconada which deprived us of repeating the feat in full France. He played and, after so many lost illusions, that football gave us joy, and that the national team, all we did to all of Spain, champions and kings of Europe, albeit briefly. For the sports we love, we often justify our love in different ways, I think, that the magic of football, basketball, volleyball, handball and many others, is to get to transport you to a situation in which full of emotion, it seems as if you touched the glory (or at least I think) when your team wins this party or such a competition, but soon, you are aware that life remains the same with the same challenges and problems but with a "something" different. That something, that invisible soul of the sport is what makes so many millions of English, were yesterday glued to the television, radio and come out from every corner of Spain, to celebrate a victory they believe him.
That's the magic part sport. My congratulations to all that yesterday, I felt like champions of Europe.
